EasyOpen, our Proximity ID Access System, combines security with convenience, confidence and control.

EasyOpen makes entering or leaving any secure area much more convenient than conventional swipe card methods. There are also many other benefits resulting from fitting EasyOpen to your premises.

EasyOpen utilises RFID, non-contact, proximity technology to authorise access to doors, windows, cabinets, enclosures, safes, etc. Designed to replace conventional locks and swipe entry systems, EasyOpen uses TinyTags (electronic keys) to replace the keys and cards. Simply holding an authorised TinyTag in the proximity of the reader is all that is necessary to gain access. There are no external components to jam, or be vandalised, or attract unwanted attention. The controller is housed in an attractive architectural brushed aluminium surface case and brushed stainless faceplate with dead-front lens, and is mounted on the secure side of the door.
Only the reader is mounted outside the door.

A further variation to the EasyOpen concept is the "Managed system" . A RS232 connection is made from the control unit to a PC and when the software, also supplied by Coastform Systems, is run on the PC, every time a particular TinyTag is used, the details are logged internally to a file on the PC. This file can be printed out or saved to disc and can help monitor the TinyTag holders and the information could be used in various ways.

An even more ingenious facility can be included to show a photograph of the holder on the PC each time a TinyTag is used. This is ideal for high security applications. Click "Managed Systems" to  obtain further information.
